Fresh faces joining Husker-Jays softball rivalry

With both the Creighton and Nebraska softball teams staring at busy schedules this week, it's hard for either of the state's two Division I programs to get too geared up about one single contest. Still, this is CU versus NU we're talking about. The Huskers and Bluejays play the first of their two scheduled 2006 meetings at 6 tonight at the Creighton Sports Complex.




Lancers, Stars recall playoff series three years ago

It's been three years now since Omaha and Lincoln have tangled in the United States Hockey League playoffs - too long if you ask Lancer defenseman Nick Schaus. "The rivalry is still there," Schaus said. "Every time we play it's a battle, so it's an exciting time."
