WICHITA, Kan. - Ally Thrall scored a game-high 17 points on Saturday night, but the Creighton women's basketball team fell to Wichita State 82-63 in a Missouri Valley Conference game.

The loss was the seventh straight for the Bluejays, who fell to 6-14 overall and 4-7 in the conference. The Shockers improved to 12-8 and 5-6.

Wichita State shot 54.1 percent from the field for the game and went on a deciding 10-2 run to close the opening half.

Angie Janis, who went 2 of 12 from the floor, finished with 12 points for the Jays. Teammates Sara Cain and Chevelle Herring added 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Robinette leads South Dakota

DULUTH, Minn. - Ashley Robinette, a former standout at South Sioux City, had a career-high 30 points on Saturday as South Dakota defeated No. 23 Minnesota-Duluth 58-56 in women's college basketball.
