Gambling on a new career

Looking for jobs with some glitz, about 115 people took an eight-week course in pursuit of game-table jobs at the Horseshoe Casino. Following are the stories of three who made the grade.

Dave McGill is the rock-paper-scissors champion of Omaha. The game kids often play to settle a dispute is serious business for rock-paper-scissors enthusiasts around the country who compete for bragging rights and cash prizes. He advances to the national competition April 9 in Las Vegas. More than 300 finalists will vie for a grand prize of $50,000. We caught up with McGill before he heads to Vegas for some heated rock-paper-scissors action.
