Omaha Royals manager Mike Jirschele said plans were recently finalized for him to return for his seventh season, the last four of them consecutive, at the helm of Kansas City's Class AAA club. Jirschele said he should have a more inexperienced team, where the focus will be on development. "That's exciting to me, because it looks like we'll have some young kids to work with and develop rather than the older guys," Jirschele said. "It's not that you don't work with the veterans, but you don't see the flaws and they are closer to being a finished product."
